PERCHE LA MACCHINA FOTOGRAFICA O IL DIVING MASCHERA LA COPERTURA CON UMIDO? |
|
Why does my sub-water camera grow mouldy? Why does my diving mask steam up? If your cameras always lie in the climate regulated room and then the camera case or even the camera mounts steam up in the morning, why do they see in these tables. You sees in this table the relation
between air temperature in degree centigrade and the relative atmospheric humidity
in per cent. The dewpoint announces at which temperature and how much percent relative
atmospheric humidity it comes to the condensed water formation. In the left column
you see the air temperature in °C and in the upper line see the relative atmospheric
humidity in %. Go from the desired temperature horizontally to the right and of
the respective humidity vertically to below. The temperature of the dewpoint is
in that cell where the two values cut themselves. The example was stressed in color
with 20 degrees Celsius and 60% atmospheric humidity (dewpoint 12.0 degrees Celsius)
as well as with 30 degrees Celsius and 75% atmospheric humidity (dewpoint 25.1
degrees Celsius) in the table.
The next table shows how much
gram of water per cubic metre can be taken depending on air temperature at most.
Some divers put her camera brieefly in the sun, because if the camera and the subwater
case have approximately the same temperature like the sea, the glass plates cannot
steam up. Depending on size of the camera and attitude of your air conditioner
warming can last without sun up to an hour. Of course the today's little digital
cameras warm themselves considerably faster. If you still gives the camera into
the subwater case in the room, then the air gap works in the case as an isolating
container. The camera remains cold for a long time and also cools the air in the
case down so that the glass plate of the case can steam up. As you sees in the table, sometimes
the atmospheric humidity plays a role, too. If you puts a cold camera in the subwater
case in the warm air outside the bungalow, then the air cools down in the case
by the cold camera and the repletion behaviour of the air changes in the case.
30 degrees Celsius warm air binds up to 30.4 grams of water per cubic metre. If
the air is cooled down in the case on e.g. 25 degrees Celsius, then this air only
binds approximately 23 grams of water. If the atmospheric humidity had been 100%,
then these 7.4 grams would have been cancelled as condensed water in the case.
Since the air is, however, hardly ever 100% damp and being today's cases built
so that they have no-one or hardly any impetus, this is through much more smally
the air gap between subwater case and camera than still a couple of years at the
older cameras ago. Since the air is hardly ever made replete to 100% in the Maldives,
low temperature differences of 1-2 degrees Celsius don't have an effect negatively.
